Sept. 15, 2020 – Families wishing to schedule their student in Duval HomeRoom or cancel their current Duval HomeRoom enrollment for the second quarter may do so now through next Friday, Sept. 25.
Like the previous enrollment period, the selection and cancellation forms are available for parents through the Parent Focus Account in the same location previously found.
- Brick and mortar students requesting change to Duval HomeRoom – Parent must complete a Duval HomeRoom selection form. Step by step instructions are available here.
- Duval HomeRoom students requesting change to Brick and mortar – Parent must complete a Duval HomeRoom cancellation form. Step by step instructions are available here.
No action is needed for Duval HomeRoom and Brick and Mortar students who wish to remain in their current selections.
Note: Selections made are for the second quarter which begins Oct. 19.
For the second quarter, because of the change from hybrid to a full week schedule for secondary students, the district is allowing brick and mortar students as well as HomeRoom students to make adjustments to their enrollment options.
For the third and fourth quarters, consistent with the district’s state approved plan, students will only be able to move from Duval HomeRoom distance learning back to brick and mortar.
Editor’s Note – This post was updated on Sept. 16 to further clarify that for the third and fourth quarters, transitions will be limited to Duval HomeRoom students wishing to transfer to brick and mortar.
