March 9, 2022 – Turning short stories into videos. Learning how to code. Making new creations with 3-D printers. They’re just some of the ways teachers and leaders at Loretto Elementary are making technology a way of life for students.
“What we’ve done as a team, we came together to develop an action plan that would allow us the opportunity to embed technology in all of our learning,” says Loretto Elementary School Principal Tammy Haberman. “Rather than being a separate component, somewhere on the outside, it’s now embedded into what we do everyday.”
It’s all part of a new, first-of-its kind experience at any Duval elementary school. Watch the video above to see how the new changes are causing students to learn and grow like never before.
